Clinical Services

Bright Teens Overcoming Struggles

The Grove School’s comprehensive and holistic on-campus clinical services have helped hundreds of teens overcome emotional, social, and learning issues. Along with building positive relationships, clinical services is a distinguishing factor that separates Grove from other programs. Adolescents learn the skills and behaviors that lead to becoming the best version of themselves.

Students have two individual therapy sessions and one group session (6-10 students) every week on campus. Grove’s staff of 21 highly trained and experienced clinicians provide exceptionally effective therapy because the clinicians takes into consideration every major aspect of the student’s life — academics, counseling, activities, social life, residential life, medications, and family. This holistic treatment often leads to holistic healing.

For most teens, the Grove School’s contextually-based psycho-dynamic psychotherapy delivers results. Through combining key elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and using a relational model, Grove clinicians help teens change ineffective behavior patterns.
