Brendan arrived at Grove in September 2015 as a teacher and dorm counselor. After three years of working and residing in the Perlman and Redlich dorms, Brendan was elevated to his current position of Core Teacher, through which he assists with the ongoing growth and development of the Social Studies Department. As a social studies teacher, he has engaged his students in both core and elective courses including AP U.S. Government and Politics, Civics, and Journalism.
In the residential and activities programs, Brendan has integrated his personal interests with his work, assistant coaching the soccer team and accompanying the pit orchestra as a pianist on musical productions of A Chorus Line, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wedding Singer, and Cinderella.
Brendan grew up in Farmington, CT and in 2015 completed his undergraduate studies at Connecticut College, double-majoring in History and Music and earning teaching certification through the school’s teacher preparation program. In 2018 he earned his Master’s in Education through the University of New England. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, and studying both piano and guitar.< Back
