Heather is a licensed clinical psychologist who joined Grove in 2016. She received her BS is psychology from Union College followed by her PsyD at the University of Hartford. While at the University of Hartford, Heather sought clinical training in hospital, outpatient, research, college, and school settings. After the University of Hartford, Heather completed her clinical psychology residency at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) in Salt Lake City, Utah. At UNI, Heather gained focused training in an inpatient psychiatric hospital environment working with both youth and adults. After a year of hiking and training in Salt Lake City, Heather returned to Connecticut to complete her postdoctoral fellowship at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) in the Pediatric Obesity Program. At CCMC, Heather directed her research and clinical efforts toward developing specialized programming for children with obesity who were on the Autism Spectrum. Heather’s primary clinical interests are in family therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, social skills training, and behavioral health.
Outside of Grove, Heather’s interests include swimming, running, practicing/teaching yoga and spending time with her dog, Graham.< Back
