Kimberly earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from Radford University in Radford, VA. While at Radford she held many leadership positions with nationally and internationally recognized organizations for the schools chapters; Sigma Alpha Iota, MENC (now known as NAfME), and IAJE. Before coming to Grove, Kim taught elementary music at a Parochial School, was an assistant conductor for a community band, taught private lessons, and was a freelance musician.
Kim has lived in NJ, IL, VA, MA, and was excited to add CT to her list when given the opportunity to build a music program at Grove. She has always had a passion for music and loves to share the knowledge of the subject with others. She enjoys the challenge of bringing student interest into the academic setting to meet the national standards of music. She continuously is looking for new learning opportunities to develop her craft and has attended several workshops and classes to better serve her students. The best part of her day is making music with her students and seeing the impact that it has on their lives.< Back
