Grove School announces “The Wedding Singer” as Spring Musical

The Arts Department is excited to announce that “The Wedding Singer” has been selected as this year’s annual musical production, to be presented in Spring 2018.  With music and lyrics by Matthew Sklar, this musical comedy is based on the 1998 film of the same title and was originally produced on Broadway in 2006.

When a wedding singer is left at the alter, a quirky cast of characters intervene to help him rediscover love and happiness. An homage to all things 80’s, this fun musical is full of laughs and filled with heart.

Auditions begin for all interested students on November 30th.

Opening night has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 20th at 7pm, followed by an encore performance for family and friends on Wednesday, March 21st at 7pm.
