National Honor Society

Grove School is honored to be an active member of the National Honor Society, a platform through which we celebrate and commend outstanding students who excel both academically and within their communities. Our National Honor Society members have showcased remarkable achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Twice a year, during our Fall and Spring ceremonies, our chapter of the NHS welcomes new members. Students aspiring to membership are invited to submit for consideration two letters of recommendation, a personal essay, and a formal application.

Members of our NHS chapter are entrusted with upholding the high standards of Grove School and the National Honor Society, both in and out of the classroom. Throughout the year, they dedicate themselves to fulfilling a set number of community service hours, while also organizing service trips and fundraisers. Notable events from the past year include a Valentine’s Day fundraiser for the Mended Little Hearts organization and a service trip to the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven, CT.
