Andy came to Grove in 1991. He was the Residential/Associate Director for twelve years, overseeing many aspects of the program. In 2004, Andy moved to the Clinical Department, and is now a full time clinician. Andrew’s specialties include Marriage and Family therapy and E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a specialized, integrative psychotherapy approach. In addition to his work at Grove, Andy also shares a private practice with his wife, Andrea, in Guilford, CT.

Andy graduated from Salem State University with a BA in Psychology, and received his M.F.T. from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to coming to Grove, Andy was the Day Program Supervisor at Boys Village in Milford, Connecticut, and Supervisor of the Adolescent Unit at St. Francis Home for Children in New Haven. Additionally, Andy was an intern clinician at Meriden/Wallingford Hospital in Meriden Connecticut.

Andy’s hobbies include ice hockey, magic, and fishing. Andy also has two sons, whom he enjoys spending as much time with as possible.
