Curt was raised in Ridgefield, CT, and went to school at UConn where he earned his masters in Secondary Social Studies Education. Curt has worked in education since graduating in 2017 and developed a passion for helping at-risk youth that eventually brought him to Grove School in 2018.
Since joining the Grove Community, Curt has been a dorm staff, taught U.S. History and Economics courses, as well as exploring his passions for woodworking, camping, and other outdoors activities. As a Residential Administrator, Curt is an advisor, dorm administrator, campus manager and has taken the role of S.E.E.D. Program Coordinator to build up vocational skills and programming both on and off-campus.
Part of what drives Curt at Grove is his belief that healthy relationships create healthy change. Trust is not prescribed but earned from both sides and this school provides him an opportunity to earn those relationships and help students to develop themselves under a healthy context.< Back
