Michelle, born and raised in CT is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Michelle is dedicated to working with individuals so as to create a trusting relationship to help clients find strength, empowerment, and inspiration to grow to their fullest potential. Michelle is dedicated to helping adolescents and their families address trauma and mental health concerns (i.e., emotional regulation, behaviors, anxiety, depression, stress and school refusal) that impact their daily lives and overall well-being. Michelle practices a person centered and trauma-informed approach to give clients a safe place to explore life experiences and improve coping skills.  Michelle also practices CBT, DBT, and creative expressions. Michelle holds a certificate in CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma Informed School) and as completed comprehensive training in school refusal and crisis interventions. In her free time, Michelle is often completing DIY projects, being creative through arts and scrapbooking, playing with her dog Chewy, and spending time on the beaches of CT.
