At Grove School, we believe strongly that overall health and well-being is the basis for all that is necessary for growth and success in academics and lasting emotional resilience.
Our Health Center is staffed with nurses who assess and treat minor injuries and ailments and we work closely with local practitioners in the event more extensive evaluation or treatment is required. The Health Center hours are 7:30AM – 10:00PM, 7 days a week.
Services provided at the Health Center include:
- Medication Administration
- Preventive care
- Care for acute illnesses and injuries
- Counseling on health and wellness
- Auricular Acupuncture
- Mindfulness and Biofeedback
Our philosophy is that wellness is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. We view wellness as an active process of becoming aware of, and making choices toward, a healthy and fulfilling life and so we continually educate students on taking a proactive approach to health.
