Day Program
Grove’s Day Program welcomes local students seeking to immerse themselves in our therapeutic environment while residing at home. Through a comprehensive blend of academic and clinical support—including individual and group therapy, medication management, and enriching daily activities—our Day Program cultivates a sense of belonging and encourages personal growth.
Central to Grove’s therapeutic approach is the integration of family therapy. Monthly family sessions acknowledge the pivotal role families play in their child’s journey, ensuring ongoing communication and collaboration between Grove and home, and fostering a supportive network for both students and parents.
Grove Day students join a vibrant community where they can engage in a range of extracurricular activities including sports teams, theater productions, and afternoon clubs. Day students are encouraged to participate in community events, such as dances and formal dinners, fostering connections outside of the academic day.
Day students eat breakfast and lunch in our dining hall. Sharing meals with our residential students nurtures social bonds and offers a valuable opportunity for peer interaction and camaraderie.
Grove Day students hail from across the state of Connecticut. They come to us from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Whether referred privately or through their local school district, our Day students are united by a shared commitment to personal growth and academic excellence.
