Clinical Overview

Grove School’s integrated and comprehensive on-campus clinical services empower teens to overcome their emotional, social, and learning challenges. Grove’s clinical services underscore our commitment to nurturing positive relationships and facilitating holistic growth. Our clinicians use Systems Theory as a framework for all aspects of our milieu treatment. Through tailored therapeutic interventions, adolescents acquire the skills and insight necessary to unlock their fullest potential.

Grove students benefit from two individual therapy sessions and one group session weekly. Supported by a dedicated team of seasoned clinicians, our therapeutic services are exceptional. By meticulously addressing every facet of a student’s Grove experience (i.e. academics, extracurriculars, social dynamics, residential life, family dynamics, and medication management) our clinicians pave the way for comprehensive healing.

For many teens, Grove School’s contextual psycho-dynamic psychotherapy yields transformative outcomes. Drawing from principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), our relational approach equips students with the tools to break free from ineffective behavior patterns and to embrace positive change.
