Olivia Bednarek
Liv is a certified educator from Berlin, Connecticut. She attended Eastern Connecticut State University where she graduated in the top percentile with a Bachelor of Arts, focused on Ceramics and Visual Art. Liv then completed her Masters degree in Education and obtained her certification to teach. She was the President of Kappa Delta Pi, the National Education Honor Society, while at ECSU.
Liv came to Grove in 2020, where she started working as a residential Teacher/Counselor and an art teacher. She was promoted after a year in the dorm to a position as a Residential Administrator, while continuing her duties in the art department. She enjoys teaching interesting classes like Jewelry Making, Storybook Creation, and Stagecraft. Liv works with the Activities Department organizing student clubs, Peer Mentoring, and exciting campus events like Prom and the Fall Carnivals.
Liv loves working with students as they grow and navigate through academic and personal challenges. She finds fulfillment in helping students discover their passions and set achievable goals, through art and craftsmanship. In her free time, you may find Liv trying new crafts, reading a book on the beach, or hiking with her dog Milo.
