Kaitlin Jando

Kaitlin Jando is a Residential Administrator at the Grove School. She graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health & counseling and a minor in English. Kaitlin began her career at the Grove School in the summer of 2020, as a program counselor. Over time, she transitioned to the dorm staff position within Grove’s transition program and worked in the education office during the school day. After two years of being a dorm staff, Kaitlin was promoted to Residential Administrator. Kaitlin currently oversees community service, peer mentoring, and has assisted in leading three ASTEE trips.

Throughout her time at the Grove School, Kaitlin has found her greatest fulfillment in forming meaningful, lasting relationships with students. Her passion for helping students grow and succeed, coupled with her background in psychology, makes her a valuable asset to the school community. Additionally, Kaitlin is a Grove school alumni, who graduated from the program back in 2016. It was through Grove that Kaitlin discovered her passion for helping others. She also wanted to give back to a program that refused to give up on her in her time of need. Her knowledge of the program and compassion for students and their families is extensive due to her having experience as both a student and staff member.
