Kelly Webster

Kelly rejoined Grove School in 2025 as Director of Development, returning to a place that has been central to her career and her belief in the power of therapeutic education. Over her 20+ years at Grove, she has served in nearly every role imaginable—teacher, dorm counselor, residential administrator, program director, director of outreach, admissions director, and associate executive director. During the pandemic, she took an opportunity to support admissions at an outdoor behavioral healthcare program, and now she’s back, working alongside the admissions team to strengthen relationships with educational consultants, mental health professionals, school districts, and the many partners who trust Grove with their students and families.

Kelly is passionate about helping students and families navigate the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood. She believes deeply in providing evidence-based, safe care to young people who need support, and she works to ensure Grove maintains best practices in every aspect of student care—from education, to clinical programming to daily life on campus.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Elementary and Special Education from Juniata College and pursued master’s coursework in Special Education at Southern Connecticut State University. She served on the Board of Directors for NATSAP for five years, including as Treasurer, and continues to contribute to the therapeutic school community as a Trustee for the Independent Educational Consultant Association Foundation and a Board Member for Haddam Killingworth Youth and Family Services. She has presented at IECA, SBSA, and NATSAP conferences on topics including nutrition, milieu treatment, and branding, and co-chaired the NATSAP Regional and Annual Conferences for many years.

Kelly lives just up the road from campus with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Scout. She loves to run, ski and spend time at the beach, and is on her own parenting journey as her daughters navigate adolescence and all of its joys and challenges.
